I loved this game dearly as a kid, and years later I forgot about it. Cut to about 10 years ago I wanted to play it but couldn't remember its name for the life of me. But then, today, I finally remembered the name: LASER SQUAD! This game is fucking awesome. It's a turn-based sci-fi strategy game where you control a squad and outfit them before a mission, then go through maps to complete objectives and eliminate the enemy squad. You can't see or fire upon enemies and vice versa unless they appear in your line of sight. So in cool maps like the mines, you can turn a corner and get blasted or blast and enemy if you spot them or they spot you. It was designed by Julian Gollop, creator of the X-COM series, and since a good chunk of streamers on here appear to like the X-COM and UFO games, I think Laser Squad would be a great retro game for fans of those series of games.
