I've made this short tutorial on how to remove the ads, because I am so tired about people complaining about them.

1. Download FireFox
2. Get Adblock Plus for FireFox. There's a tutorial on the page.
3. Select subscriptions (usually when you install it you will get a selection, chose all). Here.
4. NO ADS.

nah nah in all seriousness I use opera and You can easily block them without even downloading everything with a right click. And block content, but each browser has loads of damn problems. But you do know google chrome is actually based off of opera? says loads about how many glitches and errors firefox has, even if it doesn't like flash all that well.

If you have Google Chrome or another browser that doesn't support ad blocking in flash, you can edit the HOSTS file in windows located at C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. (Use a text editor on the 'hosts' file.)

You can do this by appending the following to the end of the file

I don't know which tag it is exactly that's doing the job, but here's what I have blocked in HOSTS:

Since the other posts in here have become outdated, new users can use this comfortable in the knowledge that it works in April 2011 at least.

The other posts aren't outdated. Using hosts to block ads is retarded, get the fucking adblock and subcscribe to easylist and bam there you go.

You can use this to block ads if you use Opera:

Remember to close opera before you delete an existing urlfilter.ini (if you already have one).
It's one of the sources adblock uses, I think it's updated daily.

More filters as livestream has been putting new ads up.
